So today I knit my camisole. I've got about an hour left of work. Two hours? Two hours. I am going to rip back about 60 stitches so I can alter the back a bit. The pattern calls for it to be peaked on both sides, kinda a mirror image of the front of the cami, and I prefer it to fall flat and straight under my shoulderblades. The pattern also includes pearl-string shoulder-straps, but I will be using an i-cord... This cami is for sleeping.
I used way less yarn than the pattern said I would... Like usual. So I'm going to take the extra ball.5 and make some cute hipster panties tonight. I found a bunch of elastic today when I cleaned out my craft dresser, both thick and thin, so I will be able to put some thin elastic in the waist of my panties... I'll need it, haha, this yarn is suuuuuper drapey. It would be like the time I knit that pair of panties from alpaca... Which, coincidentally, still could use some elastic.
Yeah, so anyway. I'm sitting here having my honey latte (I love my espresso machine), watching Knocked Up and feeling sorry for myself that Jon's gone and I'm not already married. Every time I watch a movie these days I get to feeling like that... If it's a funny movie or something suspenseful or theatrical I get sad because Jon and I would be watching it together... And any other sort of movie is always a sad movie so I get sad from both, basically.
Odin has been bored all day because it's been yucky outside and so we've been in here doing nothing.
But it's been cold and rainy outside, so hopefully things are more fun tomorrow. Probably.
I want to talk but I want even more to finish my camisole. And my panties. And try them on (:
