AMANDA!

Busy, exciting sort of day.
Went to Pimlico with Crystal and Derek and witnessed my first big-deal horse race. I went with Heather to watch her Mom's horse run one time, but this stuff is crazy important news around here. Weird horse poeple. I dislike that I can hear the jockeys smacking the horses as they ride them, those poor horses. Odin got to feed a horse Teddy Grahams today.
We were at the track aaaaaaall day. Expensive food but cheap beer. Huge weird place with crazy sloping floors. I could have gone sledding on those floors. Next time we go to Pimlico I'm bringing rollerskates.
So Odin's been asleep an hour now, and I'm having tea in my new Alice teapot (the larger of my two new teapots, with one of the many many cups that Jon got me with the set) and watching Night of the Lepus (which is so awful I love it. As with so many movies, better parenting skills would eliminate all need for terror and chaos) and I will sit here and be happy as I knit on my Zombie Sock.
I finished the XS version of my bikini bottom and will begin the XL bikini top tomorrow.
I let Odin watch Underworld Evolution last night, and I'm pretty sure it's completely inappropriate that the vampires are riding horses in the beginning of the movie. Vampires. Riding horses. Undead, cut-out-of-the-circle, Unnatural Creatures riding sensitive animals. Maybe it's my gamer history making me untrusting of the likelihood that even ficitional horses would stand for something like that?
