closer to you.

What a great day.
I received 4166 yards of yarn in the mail. 12 skeins of lilac for me, and 4/3 skeins of fuscia/grape (respectively) for my sister. The firs thing I did when I opened the box was scream and rub yarn on my face. Omgs. I am having a really, really good day.
No work today, tomorrow, or until 11pm on Sunday.
I photographed most of my stash and am uploading to Ravelry as I type. It will probably take most of the day to do this, and I will have to photo my remaining stash tomorrow when there is adequate light. Or maybe later tonight. I haven't decided :)
I have been sitting here having a blast, uploading and sorting my Flickr page. I'm deleting everything I am not using as a Ravelry photo to avoid upgrading my account. :) Ah, cheapness. In the long run there are still a few photos I can delete, so I guess I'd better do that now... I'd love to upload my whole stash to Rav, but that seems inappropriate. Silliness.
I do have a separate Flickr account, but Rav only lets me sync my profile with one. Which makes sense. You know, if you believe in logic.
I need to hash out real guidelines for my new swaps, I need to think about logos to share with Yakira, I need to create a new blog, I need to-I need to-I need to. But it's all fun stuff, so yay!

Much later, I have uploaded nearly all my yarn to Ravelry.
I still have a pile of it to do tomorrow, but that's okay. I'd really like to clean up the house a bit, take a leisurely bath with Memoirs of a Geisha, and spend the evening watching Dexter and swatching my sister's yarn, my yarn, and Scott's yarn. All wool, All worsted, All the time.
At least this way I'll get three new dishcloths for my for-the-house pile. :)
I'd love to waste some moments blogging, but I'll save it for later. Right now I feel a driving need to commune with the beast.
By beast I mean yarn. Mmm.
