I always say it's a crucible.

So I've been knitting a whole fucking lot lately. And, uh, not much else. I keep blowing things off, avoiding stuff, not doing anything productive, and generally lazing around on the couch. Even though I know I'd feel a lot better if I got up and did some yoga or some shit.
Aside from my majestic laziness in other areas, I've been really productive in Finished Objects. With the advent of Ravelry my outside-documentation has fallen into disrepair and I no longer post pictures anywhere ever. I have an incredibly updated Projects Page though, and since I'm positive nobody but me reads this thing it doesn't even matter, hahaha.
I'm about to wind some Patons into dyeable hanks, hit them with some buttercup yellow Wilton's, and turn them into my very own Mrs. Darcy sweater. Usually I defer from knitting an object in yarn in similar color to the pattern-item, but I love yellow so much. I have like, a dozen WIPs and a bunch more in my head waiting to be on needles, and so maybe I'll... hold your breath... Swatch some patterns. Amazing, I know.
I've knit like four swatches in my LIFE. Thing is, some of what I want to knit I don't have the needles for, but I have the sizes around them, and I figure, there's always a good chance. Usually I'm a pretty typical knitter (as in, what it says on the tag is normally what I knit it at) I suppose, but I don't suppose that matters whatsoever.
Odin and I are watching some Venture Brothers right now, and I think it's time for some tea and fruit.
