have it all

Isis is
hanging upside down and chewing on a bell. She is a crazy,
crazy,
crazy birdie.
But I love her.
Today I got home from work/grocery store at.... Almost 9ish. I've been making chili ever since (only about half an hour left omgs!) and sorta decided to just not go to sleep. I've roasted pumpkin seeds, cleaned out my fridge (and the rest of the kitchen for that matter, ew), gotten most of the laundry at least in two distinct piles, etc.
I am gonna need a coffee soon though. Perfect day to fix my espresso machine! Finally I have counter space!!!
No such kitchen table action though. The damn thing is still covered in yarnsssss. I must::
1. Sort out the tangles and cast on Gabe's Viking Hat
2. Work on Madison's sweater (finish the body by work on Sunday, I know I can dooooo eeeet if I try)
3. Accomplish something significant on my mohair sweater
4. Knit the other testicle for Angela's chapstick cozy
5. Find my mistake and fix my cashmere lace cowl. I'd really like those needles back
6. Pull my WIPs out of the storage room and actually work on them thx.
So, when you think about it that way, who has time for sleep?

I should dust the living room. I should clean the birds' apartment. Well, that one I will do, the dusting... I'm not so sure. I also have to finish stuffing my new shiny torso so I can post pictures! I'm not really in the mood to sculpt my arms/shoulders/bust right now though, so maybe tomorrow I'll finish her.
But, I gotta jet.
I've got chili to stir, a bathroom to clean, a shower that I am aching for, and I'd really like to get a chapter or two further in at least one of the thousand books I'm reading before I delve into knitting... To be unheard/seen until late Sunday evening. :)

(just the idea of that makes me giddy with anticipation. i am also giddy for chili)
